About Me -


I grew up in Western Europe, outside of Amsterdam, Holland. The Dutch have always had an innate, historic thirst for exploring the world. Far away and exotic places became home for many “Hollanders.” They put their roots all over the world, and learned to communicate in many languages. This need to visit “1000 places before I die,” and to speak several languages must be in my genetic make-up. For when I am traveling and I can practice some of the languages I do speak, or learn a few words in a new language, I am happiest and feel fulfilled.
